Who we are:
Official voice of the faculty at all two-year colleges in Ohio.
Established in 1995.
Made up of representatives chosen by the faculty from each two-year college in Ohio.
Meet five or more times annually, usually in the offices of the Ohio Board of Regents.
What we do:
Provide the voice and perspective of the two-year faculty to the Chancellor and Regents on the relevant issues facing higher education.
Provide a channel of communication for the two-year faculty.
Provide faculty as volunteers to serve on state workgroups and committees. Among the bodies that have drawn on OFS representation:

Articulation and Transfer Panels

Provide a mechanism for informational exchange among two-year faculty.
Advance the cause of the two-year colleges within the OBR and throughout the state.
Discuss and exchange ideas on issues of higher education, particularly issues common to the two-year colleges.
Compare and contrast curriculum and instruction allowing faculty to gain a broader point of view.
Discuss and exchange ideas on issues related to teaching and learning.
Provide a forum to discuss and share best practices.
