Founded in 1995 , the Ohio Faculty Senate has been recognized by Ohio's leaders as a valuable resource for access to the expertise and opinion of the faculty of Ohio's independent two-year colleges.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Ohio Faculty Senate of Community and Technical Colleges (OFSCTC) is an autonomous body composed of faculty representatives chosen by the faculty from each of the two-year public institutions of higher education in the state of Ohio.  The Senate is recognized as the official voice of the faculty at two-year, public institutions and serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor and the Regents of the Ohio Board of Regents.  The Senate exists to ensure that faculty in community and technical colleges play a leadership role in the ongoing evolution of innovative, high quality education by:
